Meet Alyssa Kriss! Alyssa has been practicing yoga for 11 years. It began as a way to prevent injury while she swam competitively for many years, but she grew to love the practice because the other side effects were just too good! She loved that it Increased mindfulness, calmness, connection and the sense of community kept her coming back. In 2011 she enrolled in a 500 hour teacher training. She found her niche teaching the lesser popularized style of Yin Yoga because she found the quiet, slow and profound quality of the practice to be the missing key to balance in our very achievement based and action oriented society.
